Swanson Studio led production for Vogue Values with Nike and Alysa Liu, supporting a creative vision developed by Liu and photographer Nuvany David across still and motion.
The production brought together talent, creative and crew from the UK, New York, Los Angeles and Portland, with Swanson managing the local production infrastructure and cross-market logistics required to bring the team together on location.
Swanson built the production around the needs of the creative, coordinating talent and travel logistics, wardrobe, equipment, local crew and creative talent sourcing, including bringing Portland-based DP Tyler Orton onto the project for motion.
Location development required balancing a specific visual brief with the practical demands of a sizable still and motion production. Columbia Shores in Stevenson, Washington provided water, open fields and wooded environments within a single property, alongside the space and infrastructure required for talent, HMU, wardrobe, crew and equipment.
Capture incorporated multiple analog and digital workflows. Nuvany David photographed Alysa entirely on film, while Tyler Orton worked across Super 16 and digital for motion, with Swanson's production team supporting the creative and technical requirements across both.
