Overview

Swanson Studio led creative direction and production for Oakley’s Enigma Ink Signature Series, a campaign centered on Damian Lillard’s multidimensional identity across sport, business, and music.

The concept of “Ink” served as the throughline, connecting each facet of Damian’s world into a cohesive visual narrative. Through a unified approach to stills and motion, the campaign balances performance with a more introspective, expressive tone.

Executed across integrated capture and post, the work delivers a refined yet grounded visual language that reflects both athlete and icon.

Approach

Creative was developed in-house, with early AI-driven pre-visualization used to explore composition, lighting, and transitions before production. This allowed for a more intentional and efficient build into shoot.

Production was designed to support simultaneous still and motion capture, ensuring continuity across outputs while maximizing time on set.

From concept through final delivery, the process remained fully integrated across creative, production, capture, and post, maintaining alignment and precision at every stage.
